Thank you Ryan!
I apologize about the delay in responses from our side of the street, I just returned from some traveling. I believe this issue was handled earlier today, I’ll make sure that you get the receipt of payment . Please allow a bit of time for international wires to hit accordingly. My slowness of response due to traveling is by no means an excuse and I assume responsibly for it – I shot you a private message to get more information on the issue specifically so I can follow up.
Ryan Eagle ([email protected]om)
It’s October 1st and I still have unpaid weeks from EWA for July and August….. I need to get my payment situation resolved too.
Either Savy gets pressure from above to be awkward or she is genuinely the worst person to put in charge of accounts operations. (I do not know her personally so I can only base my conclusions on the dealings I have had with her). The complete lack of communication boggles the mind.
If she is just snowed under with work then for the love of god Ryan, get some support for the poor girl. Even the AM’s struggle to get answers out of her.
Still owed low $xxx from a test months ago and never get any response either when I email EWA. It is comical all the excuses that get thrown around here. Even more comical that people keep buying this bs and running more traffic. EWA is the only network that has ever not paid me. In fact, I have never even had to remind another network to pay me.
Adsimilis, Neverblue, Mundo, CPATrend, RevenueAds have all never missed a payment and I recommend them to anyone.
Same story here…still owed money from several months ago. All Ryan & Savy ever do is say stuff like:
"Sorry for the delay, but (INSERT EXCUSE HERE)"
"I’m looking into this and will let you know ASAP"
Of course, days & weeks go by and nobody ever gets back to me.
The fact that we have to chase EWA for payments is [email protected] ridiculous. Ryan, we really don’t give a shit if you were traveling, etc…we just want our damn money!!!
I know. It’s amazing how little regard they have for their reputation in a business where reputation is the most important thing. For a measly couple hundred dollars they have gotten no more business from me and I am running $x,xxx/day with other networks. I guess there are always plenty of new affiliates who don’t know any better.
A4D always paying on time
See you soon
"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, er…."
Sad to say it but me too have around $XXX worth of test traffic from months ago that have yet to be sent out. Reason enough to stop sending any more traffic. I have tried contacting Savvy around 3 different occasions, almost all with back and forth emails (except last one where I got no reply) with the usual "I will look into it" or "I’ll check with the bank on Monday regarding your missing payment."
@rollerkoaster – There are no excuses other than I apologize for the experience that you’re having Jeff; and I’ll make sure this is resolved ASAP for you.
@pokersensei – I’ve tried to contact you several times and if you don’t want help, I cannot give it. I assure you, I don’t need your low $xxx balance ☃
@fran – I just contacted you over PM, we’ll get this out & resolved tonight for you.
I think people get the misconception that I’m uncaring or unaware of some problems within my accounting division, and that is the farthest from the truth. I’m working up in the morning tirelessly every through single night to identify, fix, and take action to resolve problems within my company. I get a lot of heat because my company is simply not up to the bar that I set for myself, and I accept all of that entirely. I like the accountability that I have when I slip up, there are thirty people ready to yell at me every single time (lol). At the end of the day, I am here to stay and EWA is here to stay. I resolve every single issue that is brought up to me, that can be vouched for.
Over the past several months I have been in the middle of some pretty big changes that finally came to fruition for my company that will positively effect the industry. I don’t want to talk much about it now because it’s still a bit premature, but by the end of October I’m confident EWA will be soaring a lot higher than ever before and there will be no complaints. There is a lot more work to be done and I won’t give up until it’s handled.
If anyone has problems, I can always be contacted via PM here as well.
It seems as though every issue that is bought up revolves around accounting. On that basis it doesn’t take a brain surgeon to establish that’s where the issue lay.
I personally sent you an email on the 28th Sept at 23.05 GMT and another one at 07.52 GMT on 1st Oct, neither of which have been replied to. In this customer service focused world there is simply no excuse for emails taking longer than 24 hours to be responded to….even if its simply to acknowledge it.
I sincerely hope you’re right about big changes happening as currently, you simply do not have a viable, sustainable business model……and that’s a shame
I agree…there is simply no excuse for not replying to emails. There is also no excuse for making your publishers jump through hoops just to get paid. There are a ton of other networks out there who value their publishers’ business enough to make sure they are paid on-time and to get issues resolved QUICKLY…not EVENTUALLY (like EWA).
Ryan, you were "following up" on my payment a week ago…but still no reply from you or Savy. I have not received a payment for several months now. How about taking some "accountability" and getting us all paid???
Anyone who believes that Savy in accounting is the problem is clueless. Savy works for Ryan. She would certainly not be blowing off affiliates regularly if she wasn’t instructed to do so. Otherwise she would be fired. End of story. Anything else is complete crap.
Ryan I got one PM from you and I sent you one back a while ago. Why don’t you just pay your affiliates and you wouldn’t have to just be greasing the squeaky wheels on forums. If your company is in a bad financial situation, work it out the right way and get a cash infusion from an outside investor.
Same deal here unfortunately. Waiting on first payment due months ago. Have contacted support and Ryan numerous times to no avail.
update: payment received.
Still issues with EWA? Was about to split test some traffic… damn it!
Waiting on payment as well, Support Ticket has been unhelpful for the past 3 weeks (Replied 3 times requesting update).
I guess Ryan is traveling again
For what its worth, Ryan sent me payment. Contact him directly. At least in my case, he took matters in its own hands and sent payment next day after sending him a PM here.
Note that I did try contacting Savy SEVERAL times before posting it publicly on this thread. It definitely shouldn’t be this way, specially when there are networks out there that ACTIVELY want you to get your money so you can bring more volume.
By the looks of it, EWA is getting bigger and they are having some serious growing pains or they have some serious cashflow issues. Either way, its reputation can go to shit if they don’t handle the most important part of the network which is making sure their affiliates get paid.
Same thing here. EWA does not want to pay me.
I think $ 2,000 is such a big amount of money to them.
I have emailed them from October 16th at least 17 times.
The first email was to Savy – she never answered to that.
Oct 30 Ryan answered: "Expect a response & resolution shortly."
Nov 21 Ryan: "I’ve been doing a bit of traveling."
Nov 30 I sent email to everyone in EWA. Ryan answered: "Sorry about the slow response here – has accounting contacted you back regarding this payment?"
Dec 7 finally Savy answered: "We have a new bank…..blablabla"
Since then I have not heard nothing from EWA, although I have emailed them a couple of times.
Its just sad, because EWA converted pretty good.
But whats the point of good conversions if you cant get your money from them.
In the first email I told Ryan that I am STM forum member.
^^^ Can someone suggest me what to do, to get the money from EWA?
Ryan has been traveling a lot lately – I guess he has to because I bet there’s one pissed off affiliate he scammed in every major city waiting.
I got those pathetic "I’m so fucking retarded I can’t use computer while I’m traveling but trust me, you’ll be paid" emails and surprise, surprise still haven’t seen anything.
Ryan, please let me know when you decide to travel to Finland, I would like to have a meeting so we can discuss this missing money situation.
Some comments Ryan?
Yep, I’ll chime in and say that, even though I did post a positive comment previously, EWA have definitely dropped the ball here for me too. I’ve been patient and to be quite honest, I’m disappointed and will be quite hesitant to work with them in the future.
owed around $3300 since october. Ryan Eagle is a scammer.
Funny coming from the guy who told me "Sounds like your major talent is to drum up drama" in the previous thread where I warned everyone about EWA…
looks like ryan started a debt collecstion company now, got several spams from him
This was prior to them dropping the ball for me. Are you going to be at ASW?
Yes. Why do you ask?
No reason, see you there.
Is that supposed to be some sort of threat? Pretty lame dude.
more drama please…
lol, I’ve been owed $1200 for like 6 months. Good luck bros.
He asked if you were going to be at ASW and then said see you there? How did that turn to a threat suddenly? You think you might be just a tad paranoid here I think only ones here that should be worried are the two fuckturds from this one specific company.
Well based on our history I am assuming he was not asking because he wanted to buy me a beer
lol, chill homie, was a simple question..
Aye aye guys this isn’t wickedfire, and it never will be
Stevey boy, 100% Andy ain’t threatening I’ve known him personally for years and he wouldn’t hurt a fly we all chill on this forum !
Reminds me of this (derailing thread a bit)
@zeno When did I ever call Andy names? I just wondered why he asked if I was going to be at asw.
Not saying anyone did anything, just made me reminisce about forum flames back in the day, and that pic is hilarious so I wanted to post it. Pretty much sums up what doesn’t happen at STM.
this is for every network you work with in general and has nothing todo with EWA. HBWA 🙂
help yourself by reading WF or google… before putting thousands of dollars into ANY company!!
try to find public records to find out more about their financial situation….investors…shareholders…etc…
…if volume gets serious try to meet them in person or schedule a phone call! i can’t help myself..but i don’t understand the people whining about non payment…if you do business handle it like a business and take it serious!! sometimes (copeac) it’s not that obvious….("far from that")..but don’t be naive!!!!
– don’t run too much volume in the beginning….wait for the first 2 payments and see if they are on time (REALLY ON TIME!!!)….unless you really trust them or (if they are recommended by guys you REALLY know!)
if you run serious volume negotiate weekly, twice a week payments…trust me they will do everything they can do to prevent loosing you at that point if you can proove you’ll be a "longterm/midterm" asset for them.
PS: i had a late payment and reached out to ryan through aim directly…issue was solved within 2 days…so i have nothing to complain! ryan is a good guy and always have been.
PPS: In my opinion CPA networks are out there to provide an extra layer of security to affiliates when it comes to payments…thats why they take a small cut of the offer payout for "insurance"..in case the adverttiser refuses to pay… if they (cpa network) refuse to pay although they should!!! (unless you are running fraud traffic) there is no reason to stick with them because they failed in providing their service.
I am not whining.
Before I posted my problem here I had been chasing my payment for 2 months.
At first I sent emails to Ryan and Savy many many times.
Then I started sending emails to everyone in EWA many many times.
Then I PM’d Ryan here in STM.
And then I posted my problem here, hoping that someone can suggest what to do next to get MY MONEY from EWA.
Still no solution.
If you say that Ryan is good…..
Well I can say that he is not good for everyone.
Now its almost 3 months I have been chasing my money from EWA.
He is not good. It seems he has been lying to almost everyone for quite a while now. This is finally starting to unravel.
And I was just getting ready to start campaigns with EWA. My partner on some older campaigns has a couple hundred tied up with EWA as well not sure when he was supposed to be paid.
I have had problems recently with A4D and their tracking domains getting burned on FB traffic (but of course FB still approves my ads and steals my money). I have an account with Click Dealer also but don’t know much about them. Frustrating…
This is usually the case with all tracking domains (red on MyWoT is what I assume you’re referring to). That being the case, it shouldn’t be a problem unless you direct link to your affiliate URL, which you should NEVER do.
The destination URL for my ads was my tracking URL (****track.info) on my server but yes this direct links to my aff link for a facebook app offer. If you aren’t direct linking to promote a Facebook app on facebook what is the alternative? I tested my affiliate link from the advertiser and it did not have a problem but my AM said I would not get credit for conversions if I used that as the destination URL. Maybe I should start another thread for this?
If you don’t have admin rights to the app then you’ll have to use a normal advert, and then just link to your tracking system -> affiliate URL -> offer page. Your issue may be if you don’t have georedirection in place to filter clicks, ensuring everything always gets to the offer page. FB apps are generally safe to run on FB and MyWoT isn’t an issue so the I think the bouncing of out-of-geo clicks is the only thing likely causing problems.
Georedirect yourself or ask to have georedirection turned off on the affiliate link.
No it’s much simpler than that I think. When I clicked on the creative link preview in my ads control panel it goes to a notice page saying the link has been reported as abusive. I didn’t catch this until I ran about $35 in traffic to the offer. I just assumed that a FB app would have no problems direct linked on Facebook. I tested creatives with my tracking URL alone and no problems, then I also tested a direct link to the advertisers app and no problems. The problem is the in between with the a4dtrack domain which has been reported. It hasn’t been reported from my traffic but many offers on this a4d domain I’m guessing have been. Unless I am really missing something here. But my AM at A4D confirmed this by saying they will get a new domain up ASAP for my aff links. Sorry I probably didn’t explain clearly enough the problem initially.
Hmmm I’m not so sure. Those "reported as abusive" messages can be automated to occur when FB detects the destination URL of your advert changing, it is unlikely ads will go down with that message so quickly from user reports. As far as I know FB cares little about URLs present in the redirect hops, the users never end up at those URLs but rather the offer URL, which is what usually gets a bad rep. If you think about it, how is the user supposed to report an A4D URL? Most users would have no clue they even went through one given the ad URL is likely a tracking domain. It could come from A4D affiliates getting lots of user reports and FB connecting dots and blacklisting the domain. However, lots of the affiliate URLs used are red as can get on MyWoT so they clearly care not about MyWoT scores of URLs in the redirect hops. Whether they take things a step further with excessive user reports is unknown.
If adverts like this:
[AD] -> FB app URL
[AD] -> Your tracking URL -> Redirects to FB app URL directly
Work fine, then the FB app is fine. If you then add in the affiliate URL to give this:
[AD] -> Your tracking URL -> Redirects to a4d URL -> Redirects to FB app
And those ads give the abusive link warning, I am 90% sure it is a redirects issue. If it was manual reviewers you would likely get retro’d not get this warning. I have had it before and it automatically paused ads that were clean as a whistle, the problem was something weird on the backend changing the destination URL and causing FB automatic checking to trigger a pause and that warning – I think the warning had nothing to do with the links being reported or anything like that. Also, do you modify the URL/redirect pathway after approval? Are you selectively geo-redirecting people to the app/affiliate URL? Without the latter it’s not possible to exclude georedirection by the A4D URL (and other potential subsequent hops) as a source of the problem.
