I wanted to know if anyone has had any success with PPV for Commission Junction.
How can I do will and not get caught?
I know not to direct link and not to bid on advertisers URL and trademark.
Any ideas would be great.

People do it through cloaking. I wouldn’t really advise it…there is so much money to be made without having to worry if you’ll get shut down all the time.

especially with how well cj communicates, it can be nerve racking waiting on payments from them. i’ve done some ppv promotion through them in the past, and they have held thousands of dollars ransom because of it. it’s not really cj either, it’s the merchants themselves.

So cj.com isn’t allowing PPV traffic?

I did it for a while, even with super cloaking they still found out, with monthly net20 payments it was too high of a risk for me to start it up on a new account.

No. One of the "big time" Jonathans (Von Clute or Volk) at one point had over $100,000 in commissions with CJ that were revoked because he was running PPV traffic. I tried to find the post but I couldn’t ;/ Was from a couple years ago, but I doubt their policy’s changed.

Linkshare and CJ will can you if they catch you direct linking from CPV traffic sources.
Run it to a pre-sale landing page and then have them click through to the offer. You’ll be o.k. in my experience if you go that route.
