Thai multi-millionaire Sirivat Voravetvuthikun was an extremely successful stockbroker and was in the midst of developing a condominium project. During the economy meltdown, he became bankrupt. Worse still, he was hundreds of millions in debt.
Instead of throwing a pity-pie party for himself, he fought back against his circumstances. He started a new venture in Bangkok selling sandwiches and pressed on in the sales of his condo units.
His life has become an inspiration and gives hope to all who have been burnt or fallen during the economy downturn. There is nothing to be ashamed of being a merely peddler. It is a job which is honest, decent and adds value to society.
Sirivat Voravetvuthikun has to date appeared in in more than 40 television and newspaper interviews. He has added a catering service into his Sandwich business and has expanded it into many outlets throughout Thailand. There are plans underway to franchise the business and it won’t be long before his company is listed in the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
Wealth really is a mindset.
I heard someone say once, "You could drop me in the middle of nowhere with just my underpants and an Amway distributorship, and I’d be making $10k a week within 3 months."
You have to make it work, regardless of your circumstances.
You can’t teach that shit. Some people just have it.
I don’t understand if he was a successful stockbroker why didn’t he just make the money again through stocks? there is money to be made when the stocks go up and when they go down and you can always find a bull in a bear market! either way it’s sweet he found something else that he excelled at!
behind a successful man, there’s a good woman holding the home front
