Hi STM members,
It’s fanatic4k. I’m a newcomer here all the way from Vietnam.
I’ve been running along with affiliate marketing for close to 3 years now. And my main expertise up to today is making money with SEO and Amazon niche sites.
I’m here because I’ve learned that paid traffic is the way to bigger profits, and because I’m a fan of Mr.Green lolz!
After registering and logging in to the main forum, I felt like I’ve walked into a huge affiliate marketing mall with tons of vendors where people hanging around chatting about stuff they care. Really impressive
Hope I can learn as much from you guys as I possibly can.
See ya around.
Welcome to the forum fanatic!
Thanks Zeno for your welcome!
Just took a glance at your Fb guide, just one "EPIC" word
I read on the blog before joining and saw your post on your 100+ gaming creatives. Really interesting as I’m planning to try the water with the gaming vertical soon.
Just want to ask how long have you been with that vertical and can I ask what’s the biggest challenge for a newbie like me who wants to make some $$$ with the niche?
I have been a gamer for 20 years.
I have been exploring it as an advertising vertical for about 3.
1. Facebook. Just in general. One of the most complex and fickle traffic sources on the planet, lots of easy ways for newbies to make mistakes, etc. (hence the guide).
2. Choosing games. AMs will recommend whatever. Personally I go for games that are client-based as opposed to browser-based where possible, with good artwork and a good dev team/appeal. Cloned micro-transaction-ridden browser games are a dime a dozen and they always do the rounds on affiliate networks. Better quality games (e.g. SMITE, AION, Tera, Infinite Crisis, Warframe, etc.) are less easier for newbies to spot!
3. Targeting and ad relevancy. Targeting gamers on Facebook is hard for non-gamers because they often go far to broad and irrelevant. E.g. you want to pitch a MOBA-style game but you target people who like CoD and WoW. Nuh uh, wrong move. My recent post on using audience insights should be your go-to guide here!
Yo buddy welcome to STM!
Who doesn’t love the Kiwi master, hopefully you get it all sorted and make some big paid traffic moneys mang!
Thanks a lot Zeno!
I’m a gamer myself and have always been since my earlier childhood. Starcraft, Warcraft, Dota, Totalwar, CoD, CS, WoW, Cabal, etc. you know them.
Tbh, I haven’t had much time playing since I got pulled into this grand "make money online" thing. But when I got into this, I think at least I should try to make gaming works for me once again in terms of financial gains not just simple lvling up or unlocking achievements.
Looks like we’re at the same age so hopefully I can farm up enough EXP to achieve your level one day
See you around gamer!
Thanks maynzie for your welcome Will definitely try my best to make this works!
