Hello to all my name is Corey and I am new to AM and I see a lot of people making claims to make a ton of money with AM. A friend of mine across this site and told me about it and I decided to join so I can learn from people that are making money at what I want to do. I first started making money on the internet with google adsense then I moved over to godaddy cash parking. I found out that google is really behind the ads for godaddy cash parking. I made $4,000 in about 5 months with cash parking before google started taking down my sites for no reason with all their panda, penquin nonsense. I went from 67 sites on cash parking to 36 in 2 months so I decided to stop it was just getting crazy, you work hard to put up a site and get backlinks and traffic going to it then they flag it and give you some lame reason that it could have been any of these 12 reasons why they took the site down and the money that was generated from that site as well. I am here to learn AM and I wanted to get some information about starting with clickbank products and how to go about it to generate my first $10,000 in AM. Can anyone point me in the right direction there is a lot of information on this forum for sure. I look forward to learning and working with you all!!!
Welcome to the forum Corey!
I’d recommend starting with the getting started guide if you haven’t yet delved much into the world of AM (i.e. offers, tracking, networks etc.) – https://stackthatmoney.com/forum/show…TION-AND-INDEX
After that, the best thing to do is figure out what traffic source you want to first attempt to use and what vertical. For a newbie to AM, Facebook, Mobile and PoF are decent starting points for learning the ropes.
Hello and welcome to STM!
As Zeno says, the Getting Started Guide is definitely, well, a good place to start!
Thanks guys will do!!!
Cory – welcome. I’m from Fort Worth. I had a couple of blogs in 2008-2009 where I was promoting Clickbank products. After Panda it’s been a struggle. Right now I’m looking at FB Ad platform and reading Zeno’s guides on FB. I have an interesting challenge with couple of my friends that don’t think making $500 a day is possible – which is my target. I’ll post about that later today to get some more directions from others. Let me know how it goes. Good luck man. -Dan
Hey peeps wanted to just throw my first post in here too. I saw Denton up top and was like woot! I lived out there a couple years but since ended up in Dallas. I been lurking this first week but definitely decided I want to get into AM as well Cormillus. I almost have an Emerging Media and Communications degree finished and thought hot damn, what great degree to start off with here. I don’t quite have enough cash to feel like I can get the ball rolling yet so I’ve been doing a shit ton of interviews with some marketing/sales companies a bit further south of you. Decided it would be helpful experience in my AM endeavors while I do some monkey work for the investment cash xD Good luck man, I’ve read the Getting Started, so that’s how I know I need to save up some cash first. Very helpful.
And if you haven’t guessed or read yet, Zeno and Caurmen are the AM Gods around here haha, definitely keep an eye out for their posts. Constant quality advice from these guys and Mr. Green. Unicorn (polarbacon) bbrock and stack (edited I’m a noob but I didnt forget y’alls aweosm-ness) too! Shout out to these peeps, mad skills. Literally. Seen that show Mad Men? These guys are making STM the new 1960’s Madison Avenue
Cheers- Mister Fister
Hey guys I was wondering if u guys would be interested in a mastermind.
Hey Danny that would be dope. Not sure if you read my post but I’m not quite STACKED enough to invest yet. Doesn’t mean I’m not willing to help any way I can. I will be in it eventually, any learning or experience curves I could get out of the way before I burn the STACK wouldn’t leave me complaining Let me know if I (we?) can help.
Cheers- M. Fister
I was thinking about meeting F2F and setting some goal and helping each other. We can share ideas, strategies. I have had good success with other tech and real estate mastermind groups that I’ve been part of. Let’s try to get 5-8 local guys that are willing to give this a try.
Corey – I proly should have started a new post instead of hijacking yours’. I apologize. 🙂
Definitely meet face-to-face and talk business guys! Networking is a critical skill in this industry.
If you do go ahead with a mastermind, try to keep it small (closer to 5 than 8…) and have have a clear focus – i.e. one traffic source and one vertical. That way when you work together and aggregate your data it will be worth substantially more than if it were spread across multiple offers/verticals/etc.
