So I just paused this campaign a few days ago and I was hoping for some advice. There have been a couple of different phases to this thing so I’ll go through it as it happened.
Direct Linking Only
I started off by simply direct linking the 1 page $3 version by targeting the following sites:
This thing looked like it had some legs at this point so I created some landing pages. Unfortunately for whatever reason Voluum was having some tracking problems and a majority of the conversions tracked as “unknown”… I checked everything several times and couldn’t figure out what was wrong.
Landing Pages Only
Now It was sometime around here that I figured out that I could target specific website addresses (i.e. creditcards.com/badcredit), I figured I would try that out and the results are below. I also started rotating in the $7.00 version around this time.
Coupon Landing Page
Landing Page 2
Looking back I definitely should have been testing more and changing less.
I’d love to hear anyone’s thoughts, let me know if I’m missing anything. Thoughts moving forward? I should keep trying out new landers right?
I also created a similar InText Campaign using the same offers and landers that I’ll post in this thread when I get a chance.
Thanks for taking a look! I’ll keep this thread updated as soon as I get this campaign back up and running.

You could rotate the two offer pages too.. but the more funnels you add, the more data you need to buy before you can make decisions. Maybe run both offers but weight it like 80-20 in favor of the $3? Once you get stuff setup, don’t change anything for a while other than cutting targets.
Definitely make sure you’re tracking token issue is sorted too. If you don’t get enough volume to hit your daily budget, add more targets. Since this appears to be converting so well and I’m suggesting 3 funnels, I might also suggest that you spend at least $50 before changing anything – at that point, you should have some really nice data to make some decisions and move forward on.

I’m not sure I’d test 3 funnels at once unless you had a lot more data but that’s just a personal preference.
You’ll definitely want to work on getting that ctr up. If you dump any lps post them up here so we can help critique.
LP wise, give that light box a test. Congratulations You’ve Been Selected To Recieve A Credit Cart. Your credit rating doesn’t matter etc.
I would also focus more on bad credit targets to begin with and then go more broad from there.

I got the tracking sorted, so all good there! I’m focusing just on one offer going forward to make things a bit easier to test. Thanks for the help.
Yeah I like that LP idea, I’ll give it a shot! It’s amazing to me that direct linking can have such a higher conversion rate than landing pages, I think it probably means my LPs are just not doing it for the visitors. Thanks for the help.
I’ve let this guy run for a couple more days now with a single more conversion on the direct link and nothing for the LPs. I’ll just cycle them out and focus on new LPs moving forward, starting with the idea Miser put out.
Sometimes when you are already zero’ed in on targeting direct linking can work well. In this instance you have creditcard sites going to creditcard offer. I can see direct linking working better in this instance.
I would not assume if DL wins out that it’s the way to go when you go to expand the campaign with a different angle.
Take pawnshops for example. Thousands of them out there that are used as banks. Same goes for money loan places. I can see LP’s doing better then direct linking as you can tie in that particular niche with the offer.
