I can’t get the postback of Incrowdads to work. I followed the steps in this post but it didn’t work: https://stackthatmoney.com/forum/show…l=1#post125152
My postback from F5media to Prosper works since I can see conversions in Prosper. This is the URL which I configured in Incrowd:
This is the Incrowd postback URL which configured in Prosper under "#1 Traffic Sources"
My postback from F5media to Prosper works since I can see conversions in Prosper. I can also see the unique bidhash parameters for my conversions so it is passed correctly with the click, however the postback doesn’t work for some reason. Am I still missing something? Any advice would be highly appreciated.
Have you tried manually firing a conversion by pulling a bidhash then going to https://win.crwd.io/convert/BIDHASH (where BIDHASH is the bidhash you’ve pulled) in your browser?
That should tell you if there’s a problem in the Prosper setup, or if there’s something going wrong on the InCrowd end of things.
Good tip! So I manually fired three conversion. It triggered something in Incrowd but not really what I was hoping for. Under my paused ads it shows "Conversions: 1 NaN%" All the other metrics like Bids, Wins, Clicks show a "-" since the campaigns are paused.
When I make a customer report with Incrowd I don’t see any conversions at all but perhaps the bidhash expires (last one was on the 11th).
For sure there must be something wrong with Prosper then.
I’d continue to eliminate the possiblity that something’s going wrong at the InCrowdAds end first. Can you generate a fresh bidhash then check that with the postback URL?
It does generate a conversion in Incrowd when I enter a bidhash from a fresh click. This is then a problem with the STM tracker. I’ll make a postback link myself to see if Prosper passes anything at all.
Good next step, yep!
Alternatively, you may want to talk to your AM at F5 to see if you can place the Incrowdads postback on their system instead. I’m reasonably sure (not 100%, the tricky bit’s going to be the bidhash) that this is possible.
I’ll talk to my account manager when he is online. I think it should work like this:
Link for Incrowd:
Postback URL in F5:
If Im correct F5 stores the s2 parameter and fires it to the postback in case of a conversion.
The direct link setup is working so I finally started running some traffic Only Ill miss a tracker when I start working with landers
How are you firing this manually?
Look for the bidhash in the referer URL in prosper. Once have it you can place it behind: "https://win.crwd.io/convert/" and enter this URL in a browser. So if you bidhash is "me8qwf987nWEF" then enter this in the browser: https://win.crwd.io/convert/me8qwf987nWEF
Oh thanks, I thought this could be done only with Incrowdads and the network without any tracker
You can skip the tracker (thats what i did for now) only than you wont be able to manually fire bihashes unless you capture them yourself.
However, if you setup the Incrowd postback correctly with your Aff network than there is no need to manually fire anything since it will just pass the bidhash automatically to Incrowd
Yep for Incrowd you can skip the tracker at all and see conversion + reports directly from their interface.
It seems we are all having some issues with the STM tracker
My URL is like that
Then I go to /tracking202/analyze/referers.php
And it says [no referer], is that normal?
^ Yes it is normal, some traffic sources don’t pass the referrers.
So is there a way to test if my setup is working?
This URL is correct?
