For this mini case study, I wanted to see the difference between advertiser provided creatives vs my own. On a lot of mobile offers they’ll require you to use their creatives or get yours approved prior to running. What I did was take 3 advertiser provided creatives and run them vs my own just to see what the difference was.
What I was looking for here is more general of a general idea. This isn’t a definitive test of course because there are so many variables involved.
Offer: Fun Club subscription – 1 click flow
Carriers allowed: Telcel
I left my targeting open except for country and carrier.
I had a hard time getting many approved, but these were.
Profit/Loss: – $17
Profit/Loss: -$1.75 (almost break even)
You can see the results were basically the same. I don’t think my own creative made that much of a difference on the 300×50. It was probably just due to some other factor since the spend wasn’t that much. I would have liked to test something really different, but had a tough time getting anything approved. How have you guys handled that?
So what have you guys seen in terms of testing an advertisers creatives vs your own (and getting them approved)?

I’ll just confirm on "custom creatives" part. It’s really hard to get "good ones" approved, nothing scammy but sometimes they won’t approve things for most absurd reasons.
So I’m not sure what to do about that, probably direct relationship or "better" relationship would give you more freedom. If someone who is doing mobile can shed some light I’d be grateful too.
Nice mini casestudy btw!
