Packing my bags on Monday and going traveling for a few months following some dark events back home, not the best at dealing with death.
Haven’t picked a destination on the map yet, planning on keeping it local around Europe so I don’t have to bother with visa’s etc.
If anyone’s around Europe feel free to hit me up for a few drinks, will be appreciated a lot the favour will be returned
First thing on my list is a city with great coffee shops to spend the days working! Anyone recommend any ones with a nice atmosphere/wifi?
If you come to Amsterdam I’ll take you to a few good coffee shops haha.
Cheers bro! Amsterdam’s on my list for sure, will shoot you a message when I’m around. Lets hook up a projector to a canal boat, find a white wall and have a breaking bad marathon haha
Mr Green (aptly named) is talking about a different kind of coffeeshop.
I’m not sure you’ll get alot of work done in one of those..
Hey mr Green,
I’m going to visit Amsterdam for several days in a middle of November. Would you recommend any cool places to visit?
^^ I literally have a list of cool places in Amsterdam to visit, what kind of experience are you looking for?
@snipe – if you’re in London, Monmouth Coffee is awesome – both branches. The one at Borough Market has the advantage of being, well, near Borough Market – the best food market in the UK. Get the Chorizo In A Bun, it’s amazing.
If you fancy tea rather than coffee, the Teapod branches are great too.
They are everywhere man, but one of the cooles tis in Prague or ‘Praha’ – I forget the name but Einstein used to go and chill there and think. He came up with some of his big ideas there so always went back. Each table has a pen and paper b/c its said to be a place to brainstorm. A quick google search and you’ll find it. Enjoy (I just got back from 2 months over there)
If you are in London, I’d also recommend Caravan at either Exmouth Market or Kings Cross. Food is excellent and they roast their own coffee from individual coffee plantations…..really good stuff.
I can vouch for Monmouth too.
Though I have no right to, whilst writing this in a Starbucks…
i worked an entire launch back in 2008 from greenhouse on harleemstraaat. wifi, weed and food. can’t beat it 🙂
I tried their coffee. It was indeed pretty good.
But favourite places in London are Kahve Dünyası (a Turkish coffee place off Piccadilly) and Taylor Street Baristas, whose only downside is that they take their coffee a little too seriously (like yelling at you if you ask for sugar in a cappuccino).
That’s good to know. I kind of like the sound of Taylor Street Baristas, they must be completely obsessed.
Im gonna be in europe next week, Croatia and Serbia most likely… Probably gonna hit Amsterdam for some sticky icky as well…. Will be there for 4-6 weeks…
Hit me up if you wanna meetup
Order a spacecake.. if you dare
^^ I saw maynzie go from a perky energised crazy man, into an immovable paralysed carcass that could only move one of his index fingers. Props to him for still trying to work on his laptop by using his trackpad.
that place is expensive
lol…. the more I hear you talking, the more I think it’s about time I visit Amsterdam again…
I’m, confused, is this thread about coffee shops or "coffee shops"?
Probably the best way to launch anything!
