I’ve never heard of this before. Has anyone had this happen?

It happened to me before. This was their reply when I asked about the missing funds…

Use their auto fund feature and keep it low so that you only ever have a small balance in your account at any one time and get a 2% bonus while you’re at it for using their auto funding feature.

Your account has been inactive for approximately 150 days. There are still unused funds remaining in your balance. As stated in section 19 of our Terms and Conditions (https://www.leadimpact.com/about/lega…onditions.aspx), the funds in accounts with no ad activity for 180 days or more are subject to forfeit.
Please log into your account and review your campaigns. We strongly advise you to use up any remaining funds on additional campaigns immediately.
As always, we aim to provide the best customer service possible and would be glad to assist you with any account needs. Please let us know if you have any questions.
I guess this is their official policy now for inactive accts. Kinda sucks, but at least they gave a heads-up & 30 days to use the remaining funds

Fortunately I only had like $30 in the account.
Un-acceptable practice IMHO still.

I agree with you guys though, It’s probably in their fine print but that’s BS that they swipe your credits.

Often times I’ll log into a random traffic source that I haven’t used in months, if I have $100+ left in an account I’ll clone a current winning campaign to the old source and see what happens. Sometimes it’ll be profitable and I’ll continue working with that traffic source on a regular basis again.
Funny thing is this actually happened recently with Leadimpact. If they took the money in there I probably wouldn’t have bothered making a deposit.

However, at the end of month i.e. total time of little over 180 days suddenly my balance turned to zero on Friday. It was weekend and if I am not wrong it was long weekend. I had emailed them already and left a VM on the long weekend. When I logged in on Monday my balance was restored.
So yes, it is their policy to take away balance if your account is inactive but before 180 days if you have activity of even 1 cent than you will be fine.
So be careful guys.
